Spring is around the corner...

On July 20th we had our winter Fun Day. We were somewhat worried about the weather, especially since the previous week had been really cold, with a brisk wind and rain. To our delight the weather was perfect!, Sunny and no wind!

Around 60 members participated in our dog activities which included Tunnels, Flyball, Jumps and Agility Activities. Mel and Rohan cooked sausages and our sponsors, 4Legs, provided food packs for our members to take home for their dogs.

It was a brilliant morning with lots of members helping to set up, run the activities, cook and serve the BBQ and clearing up afterwards.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the day.

On August 3rd our new Foundation class starts and once again it is a nice small group which gives our new members a good opportunity to get some basic skills under their belts before they are in the bigger classes of class 1.

And over the past 2 weeks we have had 4 dogs promoted to class 4, our top class. Congratulations to Carol and Summer, her Cavoodle; Leslie and Ned, her lovely Golden Retriever; Tom and Bear, he and Ping's very tall Boxer X German Shorthaired Pointer; and Deb and Logan, her little Shetland Sheepdog.
