Keilor Obedience Dog Training Centre is currently in the midst of its summer break and will recommence classes on Sunday February 1st. We are still taking new members for our next Foundation class which starts on that first day of February. After joining via this website new members will be contacted by our Present Joy regarding the time and date of the compulsory online New Member Induction Session. (This session is usually on the Wednesday evening prior to the Sunday of the first Foundation Class).

The club has a Facebook page (KeilorDogTraining) where we keep members informed about any short term changes to classes such as cancellation due to weather (maybe extremely hot weather or the forecast of thunderstorms). We recommend that all members keep an eye on the Facebook page. We also put up photos of all dogs that are promoted on the FB page. When you are promoted by the instructors please come up to the kiosk so we can take you and your dog's details, take a photo of you and your pooch and give you a ribbon and a complementary packet of 4Legs dog food.

Our club is sponsored by the 4Legs company who supply us with 4 Legs dog food to use as treats in class and for us to give to members when they are promoted. We are very grateful to 4 Legs as are our dogs who love receiving it as rewards in class. 4Legs has been a wonderful sponsor to our club for many years. Bendigo Bank is also a sponsor of our club and we acknowledge their much-appreciated support.

Our club has a very active Flyball group which trains after classes on Sundays commencing at 12 noon, and on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm (depending on the weather). T'Keilor is currently one of the strongest Flyball teams in Victoria and are just starting to put together plans for the National Flyball Championships which will be held in Victoria in September, run by Keilor. If you and your pooch are interested in training for and competing in Flyball please talk to the committee members in the kiosk or Drew or Bree who organize our Flyball Training sessions.

Pictured is Nicole and Annie, a Heeler x Husky, who were promoted from class 1 to class 2 in August.
