Tentative return to training

June 4, 2020

With the relaxing of social distancing restrictions we may be back to training soon.  The Moonee Valley City Council is looking like allowing us to re-commence training depending on the club meeting their Covid safety criteria.  We do not have a definite day for recommencement as yet but are awaiting feedback from the council.

We are not able to run our usual socialization walk, and because we have such a large number of people in class 1, we will be tentatively starting with only class 1 classes. The new members who were due to start in April will have the opportunity to view a 'Zoom' new member induction session prior to the class restart date.  Any members who had been recently promoted to class 2 and would like to go back to class 1 for a refresher session are welcome to do so.

Members will be invited to book in for a training session as soon as we receive the 'go-ahead' from the council.

Further information will be available via this site and via Facebook.  Bookings will be via email.

The toilets will be open but the kiosk will not be, so when we do restart training,  make sure you bring along a very good supply of yummy dog treats and enough poo bags for your pooch. Please bring along some personal hand sanitizer.  There will be sanitizer available for use but we are aiming to keep the numbers of people in any one place down to a minimum.

At this stage it is thought that Flyball training will start up on the next Wednesday afternoon, after Sunday training has re-commenced, all being well.
