Review of COVID status

April 19, 2020

The club committee had an on-line meeting last Wednesday evening to review the current status with respect to the shut down.   At present we have no option but to continue the physical shutdown due to the National and State Government state of emergency.  The Moonee Valley City Council has also closed down access to its sporting facilities including the AJ Davis Reserve Pavilion.

The committee expects the current status to continue into June but will meet again in May for another review.  Any changes will be passed on to members via the club's Facebook page.

The committee is looking at how we can compensate members for the closedown, within our current constitution.  A possibility may be to have memberships carry on through 2021.  We are looking at what we can do, and once again will let you know as soon as we have worked through our possibilities.

Meanwhile we encourage members to stay in contact via Facebook and continue training at home.  Julie has produced some brilliant training videos aimed to assist with home training and our instructors are happy to discuss training issues via the Facebook page.

Keep well and happy.
